While questions continue to swirl around the “Mira Millions” controversy, Oscar Mira is sending a different message: business as usual. Even as an audit unfolds and the Integrity Commission prepares to investigate allegations against him, the Belmopan area representative is keeping the spotlight on development projects in his constituency. Today, Mira took to social media to showcase ongoing roadworks in the Capital City, highlighting efforts to expand access to new residential areas. According to Mira, once the weather improves, crews will be back on the ground, pushing the project forward. He says the roadworks will soon allow residents to access and develop their parcels of land, underscoring his insistence that, despite the growing scrutiny, work in Belmopan is moving ahead.
